Background
OCEAN AmbulanceZorg Limburg-Noord BV (OCEAN) is a subsidiary of AmbulanceZorg
Limburg-Noord. OCEAN has a training center where fire and medical related courses are given to individuals, cooperating organizations, companies and institutions.
Requirements
In OCEAN, this new simulation center requires 3 of the simulation rooms to be equipped with the simulation solution that can be controlled in the Control Room, as the important simulation lessons happened in the Simulation Room need to be recorded. With the simulation solution, activities happened in the Simulation Room can be live streamed over IP LAN, so that more people can be trained lively without affecting the doctor’s performance in the simulation room.
Networking
DSS-R-CM600 server is deployed in server room to make recording, live streaming and VOD. All the encoders capture all the different signals: VGA Encoder captures the signals from the monitor; SD Encoder captures signal from the Sony SD camera. Students or teachers receive operation live streaming over IP LAN.
Achievements
This center has been primarily designed to enhance the skills and work-readiness of ambulance care employees and doctors. It’s composed by Simulation room, Control room and Server room. The functions of each room are as follows:
Simulation Room: Simulation dommy is deployed in the center of the room, five SD cameras are installed in different locations, one monitor is connected with simulation doll. All five video signals and VGA signal from monitor are captured by Reach encoders, recorded and streamed by Reach MRS server via IP LAN.

Control room:in the control room, Administrator manages all actions like record, stream, user management on PC via IP LAN. Everything is controlled Web based, all signals are monitored real time.
Server Room: REACH MRS Server is installed in the rack of server room, it communicates with encoders via IP LAN.
All three signals showed in one picture, and each signal can be enlarged to full screen, great using experience.
