Four training rooms, an iPad at the podium, and a portal that tells the training team what was actually watched.
Ageas runs continuous product and regulatory training for its advisers, and wanted that training to outlive the room. Each of the four training rooms carries the same signal set — an HD camera, a PC on HDMI or VGA, a visualiser, and microphone and line audio — and every one of them needed recording. The constraint was operational: the lecturer had to be able to switch sources and start recording from an iPad at the podium, without calling IT, while the administrator watched all four rooms from one place. The company also wanted to grow the system into a learning platform, with evidence of which content was actually used.
Four HD21 cameras and four Bee 8 Pro recorders, one pair per room, with a single Manager Lite installation and a Media Center portal. Manager Lite monitors and controls all four recorders; Media Center publishes live and on-demand video, handles upload and download of third-party material, and records what each user opens — which is how the training team learns which courses are worth repeating.
